Remove Component For Another Aircraft

In this example a component has been fitted to AIRCRAFT1 and has been used for 50 hours.  Then it has been removed from AIRCRAFT1 and installed on AIRCRAFT2.

The parts module clearly shows this "Flying" item is installed on AIRCRAFT1 Airframe.
The
Aircraft Item Details Tab to view Aircraft Details & Current Limitations.
View the Component History Tab to see the Component Details & History.


In the Aircraft Module remove the component using the Unlink Icon.
Add text to the Reason for Removal field and select option "For Another Aircraft".
Select the Removal Location where the item will be returned to and then click "Remove".

The Parts Module now shows the item as "Removed".
The Aircraft Item Details tab shows it is no longer fitted to an aircraft and stores the current limitations.
The Component History tab shows the details regarding when the component was removed and the reason for removal.


In the Aircraft Module add the component to AIRCRAFT2.
When the component is linked any data stored in the item will automatically display.
Fitted@A/C Unit and Date On fields default to the data set on the Aircraft General Tab.



The Parts Module now shows the item as "Flying" installed on AIRCRAFT2 Airframe.
The Aircraft Item Details tab shows Aircraft Details and Current Limitations.
The Component History tab shows each step of installation, removal and re-installation.
