Flights

In this module Flights conducted with in your organization are entered and tracked.


New Flight

To add a new flight go to Flight Options and select New Flight.

Start with selecting which Type of flight you are adding, this will change the screen configuration depending on selection.


Edit ATO/ CTO

Add the client by clicking Select Company. A pop up of the Address Book will open, for details see the section about Address Book. The Date will default to today's date, but can be changed. The default status is set to pending.

Select Aircraft, Crew and Pilot from drop downs, when making this entry info from the Aircraft and Users modules, such as aircraft details, weights and fuel info, will be added automatically to this flight. Complete other information at completion of flight.


Flight Following

Fill out Flight Following as required. The users added in the Select Follower drop down are the users that have been added to the Flight Follower group in the User Management module.

The SAR-time will by default be set to 30 minutes after the planned arrival time, but can be changed manually.


Fuel and WB

Data from the Aircraft and Aircraft config modules is displayed here, complete the form.

If MUAW is exceeded, a red warning will show on the screen.

Enter the passenger details on the bottom part of the form. Click the Save icon after your pax entry to update the numbers.


Invoices

In the Invoice tab, invoices created for the flight are listed and can be viewed.

When clicking the Edit icon a pop up of the Invoice module will open and you can edit the invoice. To view a pdf version of the invoice click the PDF icon.


Invoicing ATO/CTO

Only users in the Admin and Accounts group can create invoices. To create an invoice open the Flights general tab and click the Invoice icon in the Flight Invoice Details part of the form.

Notes added in the Client Comments field will be printed on the invoice, while Inhouse Notes only can be viewed by other Aeronet users.

When an Invoice has been created it will be listed in the Invoice tab.


Edit P137

Add the client by clicking Select Company. A pop up of the Address Book will open, for details see the Address Book section regarding Companies. The Date will default to today's date, but can be changed. The default status is set to open.

Select Aircraft, Crew and Pilot from drop downs. When making this entry, info from the Aircraft and Users modules will be added automatically to this flight.

The Aircraft revenue and hour rates are based on entries in the statistics tab.


Statistics

In the statistics tab the lines to invoice are entered, edited and listed. To add entries in the statistics tab, select Add New in the Select date drop down.

Enter the conditions details. The date will by default be set to the same date as has been set in the general tab.

Add the Invoice Lines. The Aircraft revenue in the general tab will be based on the Aircraft Application Lines.


Invoicing P137

Only users in the Admin and Accounts group can create invoices.

To create an Invoice for a P137 Flight, go to the Statistics tab and click on the Create Invoice icon in the upper right corner. When the Invoice has been created it will be listed and can be viewed and edited in the Invoices tab.



View Flight Reports

To view statistical reports based on flight entries, go to Flight Options and select Flight Reports. Then select the report you want to view.





creating a flight sets the duration of the flight to 0.00 unless imported from calendar
Duration can be set as a field if its turned on
Duration can be updated/set by selecting destination from charters and loading the default (if charters turned on)

Flight following => flying
Updates Status to Flying
Updates departure time to now()
Updates Arrival time to now() + Duration
Updates Sar Time to  Arrival time + 30mins

Flight following => Landed
Updates Status to Landed
No change to any other fields

Entering Flight hours is a separate process
Doing this on the iphone will also set status to complete

When the flight is complete Tech Log and F&D are updated with flight hours (not duration)


Duration and flight hours are not linked - 2 numbers separate fields


Sartime is hardwired to +30mins -
